Taraji P. Henson, ‘Black-ish’ Cast Sweep The 2015 NAACP Image Awards [WINNERS LIST]

It was a night to celebrate Black excellence at its finest, as the best in entertainment were honored at the 2015 NAACP Image Awards on TV One. ABC’s hit comedy series Black-ish swept all its categories, winning Outstanding Comedy Series. Host Anthony Anderson won Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series, and his on-screen wife Tracee Ellis Ross won Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series. But the night belonged to Empire star Taraji P. Henson, who won Entertainer of the Year, as well as a Best Actress win for No Good Deed, her thriller with Idris Elba.

The stunning biopicSelma earned Outstanding Motion Picture, and the film’s star David Oyelowo won a much-deserved Best Actor Award for his portrayal of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
